Lucio Piccolo, known Sicilian poet was born in the early ’900 left us with his brothers Casimiro and Agata Giovanna Piccolo, a refined and elegant villa, built at the end of ’800, which is located at 3 Km from the centre, in the district of Vina. The Lighthouse of Capo d’ Orlando has always been a point of reference for the fishermen and the symbol of the country along with the Madonna’s Mount. The Fortresses of Castro are rock formations of calcareous Mesozoic era located in the area of  Alcara Li Fusi, Longi and San Marco d’ Alunzio at a height of 1315m above the sea level in the Mountains of Nebrodi.
